Betonit Tile Adhesive is a polymer-modified mixture of portland cement, fillers and graded fine aggregate.

It is used for fixing or laying ceramic tiles, marble and granite on floors, walls or substrate made of concrete, tiled surface, granolitic, cement or plywood.

It has the following advantages:

1. Effective
-  Prevents tile-bond failure and tile cracks.
- Highly adhesive with greater tensile and flexural strength.

2. Less material needed
- Can be used with bed 3 mm thick and up.

3. Speeds up work.
- Gives the mason an open time of 15 minutes to spread tile adhesive paste over a larger area (1-2 sqm) before tiling, and correct joint alignment, and tile pattern without worrying that the paste would harden.

- Betonit tile adhesive remains a sticky paste for 3 hours without remixing. It is not like ordinary cement which becomes crumbly after a few minutes sitting time. Tiles can therefore be re-laid for proper fixing without removing and replacing the paste.

- Good flow and smooth consistency of the product provides ease in troweling and tooling, resulting in cleaner more efficient work.

Usage Instructions:

1. Mix Betonit Tile Adhesive in any clean, non-absorbent mixing container such as a plastic, steel or iron sheet for mixing.

2. Mix with enough water to the desired paste (approximately 7-8 liters of water for one (1) bag of 25 Kg Betonit Tile Adhesive or 3-4 parts water/10 parts Betonit)

3. Let the paste stand for 10-15 minutes, then mix again so that the chemicals will react completely with the cement and water.

4. Wet substrate and tile. Lay bed at least 3 mm thick depending upon the surface finish. To speed up the work, the tile adhesive may be laid over a wide area that can be worked on within 15 minutes.
